Muir Stations Smiles is seeking an experienced, personable, and motivated Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator to join our growing practice in Martinez, CA. This position plays a key role in guiding patients through their orthodontic treatment journey, presenting treatment plans, discussing financial options, and helping patients confidently move forward with recommended care.

The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal and organizational skills, a patient-focused approach, and the ability to build lasting relationships. This individual will work closely with our orthodontists and clinical and administrative teams to provide an exceptional patient experience while supporting practice growth.

Schedule

• Full-Time
• Monday–Friday 7:45am - 5pm
• Two Saturdays per month

Position Responsibilities

• Present orthodontic treatment plans clearly and confidently to patients and families.
• Explain treatment recommendations, timelines, and associated costs.
• Discuss financial arrangements, insurance benefits, and available payment options to help patients move forward with treatment.
• Build relationships with patients and families, addressing questions and concerns throughout the consultation process.
• Follow up with prospective patients to encourage treatment acceptance and scheduling.
• Coordinate treatment starts and appointments with the clinical and front office teams.
• Maintain accurate patient records, treatment documentation, and financial agreements.
• Work collaboratively with orthodontists and team members to ensure a seamless patient experience.
• Support patient retention, referral initiatives, and practice marketing efforts.
• Contribute to practice growth by helping achieve treatment acceptance and production goals.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Treatment Coordinator in an orthodontic or dental practice preferred.
• Knowledge of orthodontic treatment procedures, terminology, and patient consultation processes.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and consultative sales skills.
• Comfortable discussing treatment costs, financing options, and financial commitments with patients.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with dental practice management software and general computer applications.
• Friendly, enthusiastic, and professional demeanor with a patient-first mindset.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively within a team.
• Willingness to learn, grow, and contribute to the continued success of the practice.
