We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our dynamic team at our Mission location. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, be detail-oriented, possess strong communication abilities, and bilingual in Spanish. 

Schedule and Location

  • Full-Time Position
  • 4-day workweek - Alternative Work Schedule (4/10 Schedule)
  • Office is open Monday-Friday and 2 Saturdays per month

Key Qualifications and Skills

  • Current CA RDA licensure
  • X-Ray License
  • BLS/CPR Certified
  • Experience in Pedo and Ortho required
  • An outgoing and friendly personality
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially when working with children
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Proven record of excellent attendance and punctuality, demonstrating reliability and commitment to the team. 
  • Bilingual -the ability to read, write, and speak Spanish is required. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist orthodontists during a variety of treatment procedures.
  • Set up and breakdown operatory post-treatment.
  • Take dental x-rays according to dentist's orders.
  • Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
  • Provide patients with instructions for oral care following dental treatment procedures
  • Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health (tooth brushing, flossing, etc.)
  • Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment.
  • Provide administrative support when necessary.
