We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our pediatric dental practice.

As a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dental care to children. You will assist the dentist in various dental procedures while ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for our young patients and their families. Your enthusiasm for pediatric dentistry and your commitment to patient care will help create a positive and enriching patient experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during various procedures, including cleanings, fillings, extractions, and pediatric sedation dentistry.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Conduct patient intake processes, including reviewing medical histories and providing appropriate instructions.
- Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene, preventive care, and post-operative instructions.
- Manage patient records and assist with appointment scheduling, treatment planning, and billing.
- Maintain an organized and efficient clinical environment to promote patient comfort and safety.
- Collaborate effectively with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and continuing education requirements.

Qualifications
- Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification in California.
- Previous experience in a pediatric dental practice is preferred.
- Proficient in dental terminology, procedures, and operations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially with children and their guardians.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of dental software and digital radiography is a plus.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
