
Sterilization Technician

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Sterilization Technician to join our team! The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, a positive and patient attitude, and a passion for pediatric dentistry. You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality dental care to our patients in various clinic locations.
Schedule & Locations
- This is a part-time position (Up to 32 Hours per week)
- Traveling between our Antelope and Auburn

Key Responsibilities
- Clean, sterilize, and package dental instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols and standards.
- Perform routine checks on sterilization equipment and report any malfunctioning to the office manager.
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining inventory levels of sterilization supplies, ordering as needed.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and CDC guidelines for infection control and safety practices within the dental office.
- Organize clean instruments and ensure that work areas are maintained in a tidy and sanitary condition.
- Work closely with dentists and dental hygienists to ensure instrument availability and readiness for procedures.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation of sterilization procedures and equipment maintenance.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification or training in sterilization or dental assisting is a plus.
- Previous experience in a dental office or similar healthcare setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of sterilization methods and infection control protocols.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills and time management capabilities.
- Strong communication skills, with a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
